Our comprehensive reading assessment for grades 1-12 utilizes a selection of the highest regarded standardized testing measures for decoding and encoding to evaluate how your child is performing compared to their age-mates in the area of literacy.

  • Woodcock Reading Mastery Test™ | 3rd Edition (WRMT™-III)
  • Test of Word Reading Efficiency | 2nd Edition (TOWRE-2)
  • Gray Oral Reading Test | 5th Edition (GORT-5)
  • Gray Silent Reading Test (GSRT)
  • Test of Written Spelling | 5th Edition (TWS-5)

Cost & Time Commitment:

The cost for this comprehensive reading assessment performed by our Director, Beth Dinelli, M.Ed., is $800 and requires a 2-3-hour time commitment at our Needham Learning Center.

Package Includes:

  • Administering and scoring the assessments.
  • Testing report with standard scores, percentiles, and grade equivalents.
  • Written report that includes results, a summary, and recommendations.
  • Consultation to discuss the results (available via phone, remote meeting, or in person).

For an additional charge of $250, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test | 5thEdition (PPVT-5) and the Expressive Vocabulary Test | 3rd Edition (EVT-3) can be administered to assess your child’s receptive and expressive vocabulary skills.

Our comprehensive math assessment for grades 1-12 utilizes the highest regarded standardized testing measure for computation and problem solving to evaluate how your child is performing compared to their age-mates in the area of math. Throughout the duration of the testing session students will complete both mental and paper-and-pencil tasks.
