Educational Assessments
An assessment has the ability to change a student’s life. Through the discovery of a learning difficulty or an effective learning style, evaluations teach us how to approach education, which opens endless doors for the future.
Commonwealth Learning Center has offered comprehensive educational assessments for more than 30 years. “[Our daughter] was once called the ‘student who fell between the cracks.’ She was above average in some areas and struggling in others, but her successful areas kept her from receiving extra help. With each year, her struggle became greater and her frustration level grew. She felt no one could explain or understand [her] difficulties. Your evaluation was so on target for what we had been seeing at home and what our daughter had been experiencing… It has been a pleasure for us to watch her blossom.”
– Parents of a CLC student
“[My husband and I were] completely at a loss with our son’s failure to achieve and the frustration we felt when his teachers constantly told us how bright he was… if it weren’t for the in-depth testing you did and the interest you showed, we would still be tearing the hair from our heads… we know that it was your ability to pinpoint and define the roots of his problems and difficulties, combined with his wonderful incisive teacher from CLC, that is the real reason he has [found] success. [We] are pleased that our son’s self-esteem has improved so dramatically along with a corresponding improvement in his school work.”

“I wanted to let you know that we got [my son’s] MCAS scores from the spring. His English language arts score went from 238 in 3rd grade to 250 in the spring. He improved from Needs Improvement to High Proficient. I know that his improvement is attributable to the work you did with him last year. He really loved working with you and it obviously made a big difference for him. Thank you!”
