Commonwealth Learning Center
Our Commonwealth Learning Center (CLC) provides one-to-one teaching using a customized plan to meet the needs of each student. Our teachers have special expertise working with students who have learning disabilities, including dyslexia, ADHD, language-based learning disabilities, non-verbal learning disabilities, executive function difficulties, and high functioning autism. CLC also offers educational, psychological, and speech and language assessments.
Professional Training Institute
Our Professional Training Institute (PTI) offers research-based programs designed to help teachers and specialists meet the needs of students who require systematic and multisensory learning approaches. PTI is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) for all teacher training courses as well as the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators for Orton-Gillingham teacher training at the Subscriber and Associate levels. Massachusetts PDPs and graduate credits are available.
Commonwealth Learning Online Institute
Our Commonwealth Learning Online Institute (CLOI) supplies educators with an all-inclusive online learning opportunity that improves teacher effectiveness, streamlines implementation of Common Core State Standards, and increases the percentage of college and career ready students. Our current online course offerings provide an in-depth knowledgebase of the different components of reading, which may be taken for graduate credit. CLOI is a Common Core Endorsing Partner.
