Spend April Break at CLC
April 21 & 23, 2019
Does your child regularly misplace or forget to do homework? Are the materials needed to complete assignments not readily at hand? Are study strategies not part of your child’s skill set? Executive functions such as organizing materials and planning study time help students manage their workloads, making success attainable. Capable, hard-working students can struggle with executive function, particularly those with learning or attention challenges.
Commonwealth Learning Center’s Kat Marsh, M.Ed., introduces students in grades 7-10 to core executive function skills in this course. Over two late-morning sessions, participants will complete a guided assessment, create an individualized plan, learn efficient strategies for managing their time and materials, and practice key study skills. They will leave with a step-by-step plan for school success.
Space is limited and first come, first served.
