The Commonwealth Learning Center offers an ideal, supportive teaching and learning environment with opportunities for professional tutoring. All tutoring is one-to-one. Hours are flexible - afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Part-time Tutors

The Commonwealth Learning Center is looking for part-time tutors to teach in our Needham and Danvers centers. There are opportunities in reading, writing, math, study skills, academic support, test preparation for SAT, ISEE, SSAT and MCAS and, at times, in other subjects such as statistics, biology, chemistry and more. Training in multisensory methods such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing™ Program (LiPS®), Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing®, or Project Read is helpful. Training in one or more of these programs is available.
